Costa Smeralda and the Roccia dell'Orso

This excursion allows you to discover more about the scintillating Costa Smeralda and Porto Cervo. Passing through the fascinating Gallura hinterland, the itinerary includes a short stop in the famous Valle della Luna at Aggius and at the town of Luogosanto, from where we proceed to Porto Cervo for a walk among its exclusive little streets and the famous “piazzetta delle chiacchiere” or Gossip square. The Resort Cala di Falco at Cannigione (part of the Delphina group) hosts us for a tasty Mediterranean Brunch. In the afternoon, we head North along the Gulf of Cannigione to visit the Roccia d’Orso from which it is possible to admire the stupendous panorama of the La Maddalena Archipelago. During the return journey to the Hotel which follows the scenic coast road between Santa Teresa Gallura and Castelsardo, there will be a stop for an invigorating swim on one of the most beautiful little bays in the North of Sardinia.

Minicruise around the La Maddalena Archipelago

The La Maddalena Archipelago Minicruise lets you spend a complete day among the most beautiful islands of the North of Sardinia. An exclusive excursion which leaves from the port at Isola Rossa on fast motorboats with a maximum of 12 people each. After having gone along the coast as far as Capo Testa, we cross the Straits of  Bonifacio as far as the magnificent La Maddalena Archipelago. The itinerary includes a stop for a swim among the islands of Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria in the heart of the National Marine Park and a light lunch on board, followed by a stop at the town of La Maddalena. The itinerary includes a further stop at Spargi, and in the late afternoon, after a snack prepared by the crew, the boat returns to the Hotel.

Minicruise to Corsica

For those wanting to discover the most delightful places in the Corsican archipelago, we recommend our Minicruise which uses our fast motorboats for a maximum of 12 guests on each. Crossing the Straits of Bonifacio is always exciting, and often made more so by the chance of seeing dolphins and on rare occasions even whales. The cruise laves the harbour at Isola Rossa and sails along the North coast of Gallura as far as Capo Testa, then crosses the Straits of Bonifacio to reach the island of Lavezzi where there will be a stop for a walk on the island, a swim, or just to relax on the beach. Then we continue North, passing by the Isola di Cavallo as far as Punta Lo Sperone and the famous tongue of sand at Isola Piana for another swim stop. After having had a light lunch on board prepared by the Hotel, we continue to the small town of Bonifacio, perched high on its white limestone cliffs for a visit to the typical historic centre. In the late afternoon, after a snack offered by the crew, we return to the Hotel.

Tour of Gallura

The Tour of Gallura is the perfect opportunity to find out more about the Gallura hinterland, to get to know the ancient traditions and culture of this region, by travelling through unique natural landscapes enriched with  fantastic granite sculptures, carved out by the Mistral wind over thousands of years. The excursion’s first stop is at the Nuraghe Majori, on the outskirts of the town of Tempio Pausania, which we then go on to discover: the narrow streets of the centre and the typical stone churches created during the period of Spanish domination in the 17th Century. From here we move on to Aggius, a delightful Gallura town famous for the quality of its weaving and the  “stazzi” culture, which is visible in the largest ethnographic museum in Sardinia. Among other artefacts it also houses a textile workshop where local women can be seen following ancient traditions and weaving prized local rugs on original looms. We then proceed to visit the Banditry Museum, the only one of its kind in Italy.

During the excursion a stop is planned for a tasting of local products in the fabulous Valle della Luna.

The excursion lasts around 7 hours.
